Waldo is an e-commerce startup operating in the UK market. The company planned to launch the sale of contact lenses in a subscription model, offering customers convenient delivery of products directly to their home in selected cycles. The customer approached us to create a modern subscription platform, supporting recurring deliveries, user account management and an intuitive purchasing process tailored to the requirements of modern online customers.

No support for the subscription model in Shopify
The standard Shopify engine and available plugins did not support subscriptions, which made it impossible to implement Waldo's business model based on recurring deliveries.
Limited purchase process (checkout)
The default Shopify checkout was not very flexible and did not allow for personalization — users had to fill in all the data on the first view, which negatively affected UX and conversion.
No possibility to customize the layout and the “My Account” module
Ready-made Shopify templates did not allow for the implementation of a unique design or module for managing subscriptions and user data, which limited the image consistency and functionality of the store.
Limited marketing analytics
The client did not have a tool that combined sales data with the results of marketing campaigns, which made it more difficult to optimize advertising budgets and track real return on investment.
Dedicated subscription module
We've built a subscription platform within a Shopify-based web app that allows you to fully manage your subscription plans — both by users and the store team. Thanks to the graphic customization, the module fits seamlessly into the layout of the page.
New multi-step checkout
We have designed a dedicated purchasing process, divided into several intuitive screens, which allows customers to make a purchase quickly and without frustration. The mobile version of checkouts has further improved conversion among users using smartphones.
Custom layout of the web application
We implemented a new branding and individual layout of the site, which significantly distinguished the Waldo brand from other stores using ready-made Shopify templates. We have also improved the design of all modules to create a coherent, attractive whole.
Marketing and Sales Dashboard
We have built an interactive dashboard integrating data from different sources — marketing campaigns, website traffic and sales. It enabled Waldo's team to precisely allocate the advertising budget and identify the most effective channels.
Waldo has become one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in the subscription model in the UK market.
Automation in the subscription module significantly improved the service process and saved the time of the customer team.
The dedicated layout of the web application allowed the brand to stand out from the competition and strengthened its recognition.
