An investor from the HoReCa industry came to us, who wanted to create a solution to improve the payment service in catering establishments. The aim of the project was to introduce an innovative mobile application, allowing customers to independently pay and split the bill at the table without waiting for service.

Lack of a comprehensive team to carry out the project
The client was looking for a company that would not only design the interface, but also take care of the entire implementation of the application — from concept to finished product. Many subcontractors, do not deal with more complex integrations or dedicated UX/UI views.
The application was supposed to address the problem of long service time
The client's project assumed that the application would simplify the process of closing accounts in restaurants. This can be time consuming and inefficient, both for customers who have to wait for a waiter, and for staff who have to manually settle group orders.
The need for integration with cash register systems (POS)
For the solution to work correctly, it was necessary to integrate the application with the restaurant's existing checkout systems so that bills, payments and tips were synchronized in real time. Without this integration, the application could not provide reliable data and full automation of the process.
Creation of a dedicated mobile application
We designed and implemented a mobile application using React Native technology, thanks to which users, after scanning the QR code at the table, can immediately see the bill and pay without the participation of the waiter. The application supports splitting the bill between participants, adding tips and calculating discounts in real time.
Full integration with POS systems
We have implemented integration with cash registers and sales management systems used in restaurants, which allows automatic updating of bills and synchronization of payment statuses. Thanks to this, the data between the app and the back office of the restaurant is exchanged without delay.
Comprehensive implementation of the project by one team
Our team consisted of UX designer, mobile developer, tester and project manager, which allowed us to carry out end-to-end project — from requirements analysis and interface design to implementation and testing. This approach guaranteed visual, technological and communicative coherence at every stage of implementation.
The payment process in restaurants has been shortened and automated, which has increased table rotation and customer satisfaction.
Restaurant service teams have gained time savings through automation and integration with the checkout system.
The investor acquired a fully functioning, scalable mobile product, ready to be implemented in catering chains on the Polish market.
